For the third and final project, I decided to make an animation in Blender EEVEE. For this animation, I started with sculpting and modeling a dragon from reference photos of red dragons from the internet. I made all of the body parts and duplicated them, and mirrored them so the dragon was symmetrical. I followed a tutorial for making the wings since I wanted to rig the wings correctly, and rigging is something that I am still learning how to do. I then textured the dragon by using nodes and picking the colors for the dragon. The next thing I wanted to do was make the scene for the dragon around it. I kinda envisioned the dragon sitting on a rock in a meadow surrounded by trees, flowers, and plants with a river. Well, the Meadow part, I followed a very lengthy tutorial that showed me a lot of new things I can do in Blender. Some were just shortcuts for modeling, using data to store my objects I created, also learning how to use empties, using modifiers to create wind animation, and how to apply that to everything. Some more of those things included learning about nodes, weight painting in the environment, randomizing the environment with the nodes, and using shading for the world instead of an object to create a sky with clouds. Learning how to use cameras and angles in Blender, and then lastly learning how to edit in Blender after rendering it in frames, adding sounds, and background sound to have the animation come to life. I did run into the issues of trying to rig my Dragon, I think, because it was too high-poly, it kept causing my computer to crash. Also ran into the issue of trying to add water since I think I had too much going on already in my scene.
