For the second project, I was able to get better at making my own model and version instead of following a tutorial step by step. I think that my biggest improvement in this project was not following a tutorial step by step and using more of my own creativity to accomplish what I wanted. I did look up tutorials for when I was using the nodes in shading to create the turtle's shell. I also was able to use the nodes to create a wave and ocean-like feel. I ended up getting help from a friend of mine who uses Blender a lot more than me since I was struggling with my armature and they were able to help me fix it so the movement looked a lot more fluid and less rigid. I also learned about changing the light to sunlight and changing the color to blue to give a more realistic look underwater. They also showed me where you can have a camera follow to make an animation more smooth which I didn’t know that you could make it where the camera can follow your armature. Blender does not stop surprising me with all of its features. It just enhances the software even more. I definitely can not wait to start my project three and continue to enhance my skills in Blender. Overall very happy with how Project Two turned out since I learned a lot more about modeling and more about animating and how to enhance my background to create an actual scene compared to Project One.
